CASTING UPDATE [Monday 18th February 2013]
drwho-online.co.uk has announced that actor Robert Shearsmith is to play the late Patrick Troughton who replaced William Hartnell as the Doctor at the end of the 1966 Cybermen story 'The Tenth Planet'.
Well when I saw him in 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship' I did see something Hartnell like about him, not sure why thou. Still, good choice of actor, he was quite funny a few years back in the film 'Hot Fuzz' [link]
whao they do look like there real life counterparts. You think we might see David Bradley Cameo in the main series as the 1st Doctor with Claudia Grant?
You mean see them play the 1st Doctor and Susan in the new series of Doctor Who ?, no, I doubt that will ever happen, but if that was the case then surely we would know about them making an appearance in Doctor Who as the 1st Doctor and Susan already.
The guy playing Waris looks so like him, I'm not entirely sure about the 2 women thou.
Richard Hurndell played William Hartnell's Doctor in 1983's 20th Anniversary special 'The Five Doctors' as William had sadly passed away on the 23rd April 1975 shortly after Genesis of the Daleks had finished broadcasting the final part of the story.
The guy playing Waris looks so like him, I'm not entirely sure about the 2 women thou.
