Thought it would be nice to post this awesome photo of the brand new Tardis Console Room which debuted recently at Christmas in 'The Snowmen', taken from the current issue of Doctor Who Magazine [issue 456, February 2013].

I must say this is how I really wanted the Tardis to look when the show returned in 2005.

This is officially now my favorite of the modern Tardis consoles, with the previous one my 3rd favorite, and the 9th/10th Doctor version my 2nd favorite.

This design is so Classic Series, and it truly is a fantastic design, so thank you to Michael Pickwoad for designing it.

Perfect for this years 50th Anniversary !!!! :D

"It's called the Tardis . . It can travel anywhere in time and space . . . . and it's mine !" :D

The kick back to the old TARDIS style from the fourth/fifth Doctor is nice.

It is indeed. Far as I know, Michael Pickwoad who designed this new console said that Steven Moffat was a fan of the old Jon Pertwee version, so he must have based it on that one.
