The No.1 Science Fiction ship - The Tardis

Description

If there was an award to name which ship in Science Fiction history is the greatest ship of all time [and space B-) ], it would rightfully have to be the Doctor's single surviving type 40 TT time and space machine capsule, more commonly known as the Tardis.

She is the most unique Science Fiction ship ever created. For one thing, regarding her exterior, she does stand out when it comes to exterior as not even looking like a spaceship on the outside, but as a 1950's Police Public Call Box, which is one of the reason why the ship is so loved among Science Fiction fans. She's famous for being dimensionally transcendental, and there have been many 'bigger on the inside then the outside' gags down the last 50 odd years, and she is also the most powerful ship known in Science Fiction too, for not only can the ship use a type of tractor beam to pull an entire planet back to it's rightful place in the universe, she can also pull another ship away from perhaps the most powerful force in the known universe - a black hole. Not even a ship from Star Trek can do that !!.

For so many years, we've been introduced to so many ships, The Red Dwarf in 1988, the Nostromo in 1979, the Liberator in 1978, the Millennium Falcon in 1977, the original U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 1966, and even Thunderbird 3 in 1965.

And yet, before any of those ships and their respectful shows / films even existed, the year was 1963, and the Doctor set the controls of his frankly magnificent time ship into motion, leaving earth in November 1963 with his granddaughter Susan and two of her school teachers, and beginning the trip of a life time.

Yes, the Tardis is rightfully Science Fictions No.1 ship TARDIS - white

So here's the question . . . . . . what's the 2nd best Science Fiction ship ??????.

The ironic thing is that the Doctor's TARDIS is an outdated retired model. I want a 100-Form TARDIS like those from the Eighth Doctor novels!
