This so annoys me ! CURSE YOU!

Me dad just caught the end of a 1969 movie called 'The Body Stealers', and near the end, the jammy dodgers had gone and, as far as I'm personally concerned, nicked the Dalek ship from 'Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.' from three years earlier.

I don't know if the makers of the Dalek ship owned the copyrights to the Dalek ship design or not, but if they did, then surely the makers of the 1969 film should not have been allowed to use what clearly was not theirs in the first place.

If the two films was related then I'd naturally be ok with that, but the Body Stealers is not a Dalek movie, and just now knowing it was used in something unrelated to the Dalek films just angers me inside.

I highly doubt they would have got away with it these days. The makers probably would be sued for breach of copyright I feel.

Also, please excuse any spelling errors you may notice on this upload. It tends to happen when I write, even thou I do try to correct any spelling errors I may make. I have Autism just like most other users on this site, so spelling is sometimes a bit of an issue for me. Thank you [if possible, please don't ask about my Autism, I don't like to keep talking about it because sometimes I can get down and depressed because of the condition, I'm only mentioning that I have Autism purely to save me the bother of always having to correct my spelling errors I sometimes make. Thanks for understanding :) (Smile) ]

I read about this a few years back and someone explained that props from various films belonged to their props department and to save on budgets the props were reused several times including not just model craft, but also building interiors etc.
