Doctor Who -The Master [1971 to 2010]

SEEMS LIKE THIS OLD UPLOAD OF MINE MIGHT NOW BE WORTH IGNORING, SINCE IT SEEMS THE TIME LORDS AND GALLIFREY ARE NOT DESTROYED, AND THEREFORE, COULD SEE THE RETURN OF THE MASTER. THIS UPLOAD WAS MADE LONG BEFORE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY EPISODE, BUT THE FOLLOWING STUFF IS WHAT I WROTE ON THIS JOURNAL LONG BEFORE THE 50TH SPECIAL.

PLEASE NOTE - For the record, I do not regard Michelle Gomez's Missy as a new female incarnation of the Master. No real explanation was given in series in 'Death in Heaven' to confirm that she is him, and there was no onscreen proof either to show she is him with no regeneration scene involved between John Simm and Michelle Gomez.

As far as I, and no doubt many other fan's, are concerned, she's not the Master himself, just a wacked out crazy female Time Lord who escaped the Time War during the Doctor's saving of Gallifrey in 'The Day of the Doctor', and has convinced herself that she is the Master and now has the Doctor believing she is too, so in my eyes, and the eyes of others, Missy is not the Master.

Plus, like time itself in Doctor Who, continuity can be re-written. A new male incarnation of the Master can be introduced at any time and tell the Doctor that Missy is an escaped Time Lord from a Gallifreyan mental asylum who idolized the Master [his biggest fan shall we say], and she believed he was dead and decided to live a free life and crate havoc and make the Doctor believe she really is the Master in female form just like that, then the real Master, in a new form, can kill off the fake Master and be recognized as a new, true incarnation of the Master himself.

Plus, I'm a Doctor Who fan who hates the idea of gender swapping Time Lord's, and I'm not the only person who feels that way, plus need I remind people about the Doctor's rule 1 - HE LIES !! - he once claimed that a Time Lord known as the Corsair was female twice, and true, the Doctor did indeed have a friend called the Corsair as we saw his Ouroboros tattoo on his arm that was now a part of the character known as Auntie in 'The Doctor's Wife', but the Doctor no doubt lied about the Corsair being female twice, just joking around with Amy and Rory really, so you shouldn't believe everything the Doctor says, cos like me and everyone else, he can exaggerate things sometimes when he talks.

I'm getting really fed up with this, so I decided to make an upload about it.

A lot of fan's keep saying that the Master should be brought back to Doctor Who, but the truth is, we don't need to see the Master brought back to the series, now that we know that he is a VICTIM !!!!

I get the impression that many Doctor Who fan's clearly did not pay much attention to the Masters back story, which I may as well talk about now -

BACK STORY OF THE MASTER

The Master was an 8 year old boy from the planet Gallifrey. His real name was Koschei, and he was once a childhood friend with the man we know only as . . . . . the Doctor.

When Koschei was 8 years old, he was taken to the Untempered Schism, during a ceremony which begins a young Gallifreyan's life into becoming a Time Lord. Kochei looked into the Untempered Schism, seeing the raw power of time and space itself, the Time Vortex, and while he stared into the vortex . . . . he began to hear a drum beat in his head. . . . . . .

Slowly over the years, the drum beat drove him insane, until one day, he turned his back on his friend [The Doctor] and Gallifrey for good. He now became evil, he wanted power, he wanted to rule the Universe, and chose to call himself - THE MASTER !!!!!.

But still, he never knew what the drum beat in his mind was, until the end of his life.

So many years later, he finally discovered the truth of his madness - Rassilon.

Rassilon was resurrected by the Time Lords in the final days of the Time War. He did not want the Time Lords and Gallifrey to fall, and so, he devised a plan to free the Time Lords and their home world out of the Time Lock that kept them inside the Time War forever.

He discovered that the cause of the Masters insanity was himself, by ordering a Time Lord to send a link back through time to the day the Master was the 8 year old Kochei, he know that over the years, Kochei would become the man they knew as the Master.

He turned an innocent Gallifreyan into a monster, just so that one day, he and the other Time Lords and their planet would return to the rest of the Universe out of the Time Lock.

The Master later became to realize just what happened to him all his life. He realized that he was a victim, that Rassilon made the Master the man he became . . . . and now, Rassilon was going to pay for his insanity and torment.

The Master told the Doctor to step out of his way, and he began to fire lighting bolt after lighting bolt at Rassilon, while shouting back at him -

"You did this . . . . you made me . . . . all my LIFE !! . . . . YOU MADE ME !! . . . . 1 . . . .2 . . . 3 . . . .4 . . . ."

The Master, now Koschei once more, saved the Doctors life, and the rest of the Universe as well infact, and he returned to Gallifrey, to the Time War, knowing that he was going to die with them . . . . . . . . . but die a redeemed man of goodness

THE END

And yet, many fan's clearly just won't get him. They won't accept the Master is dead, but we now know his back story, we know he was not born evil like say Davros. The Master was a VICTIM all along.

So please . . . . . . . . . . . . . . let him rest in peace

I've decided to ban comments on this upload as I'm fed up now with the occasional fan telling me Michelle Gomez is the Master when as far as I and many other fan's are all concerned she is not because so called 'Missy' did not really confirm in any such detail in 'Dark Water / Death in Heaven' that she is the Master, nor was there a flashback to a regeneration to prove it.

Just cos she said "couldn't very well keep calling myself the Master now could I" is not really proof she is him, and since there has never been an official on screen regeneration of a Time Lord changing gender, then it does not have to be believed that Missy is the Master.

She is NOT the Master. Accept that and move on
