Goodbye Page 3 girls of the Sun newspaper

Hey all.

Just learned from my dad after he watched BBC News this morning that it seems Britain's No.1 newspaper, The Sun, has finally decided to ditch it's 44 year old page 3 feature of women showing their Breasts, and sometimes wearing not much anything else from time to time in the famous pictures down the years since first appearing in 1970.



Truth is, page 3 should have ended a long time ago as it has become old fashioned according to Rupert Murdoch, the man who owns the Sun newspaper publication.



No doubt many women in Britain [and perhaps, across the world too] will be glad to finally see the end of this old past time, as it has been viewed as sexist and discriminating by many women over the years, making them feel that the page 3 girls themselves are nothing but a bunch of sex objects, and having many men objectify women in much the same way over the years in public places like beaches, in places of work, etc, etc.

And no doubt the 'No More Page 3' people will be happy too, as many of it's supporters are women, but also men too who have young daughters, who also feel the feature should have vanished long ago.



Admittedly, as much as I am a straight guy who likes and even adores Breasts just like the next straight dude, I too have felt that page 3 should have ended a long time ago too, so I'm not gonna feel bothered to no longer see a page 3 girl, thou I feel for the next few days or weeks, it will take some getting used too not seeing them anymore considering I've noticed them all the time down the years.
