Ola Dudes,You guys have no idea who I saw today when I left Cex this morning in Stratford !!.
Actor Murray Melvin, who played evil Billis Manger in the very first series of the Doctor Who spin-off series 'Torchwood'.
I just walked out of the local Cex and was just about to head towards the Westfield Shopping Centre, when he suddenly showed up and walked straight past me !!.
I never got his autograph thou in case any of you are wondering, and it's not like I carry a pen and note pad on me whenever I go out just in case something like seeing a famous face might unexpectedly show up, but it sure was a surprise. I had wondered if he was in Stratford doing a book signing or perhaps just a spot of shopping . . . . I dunno . . . . but it did later occur to me that maybe he lives in or around Stratford, even thou Wikipedia says he was born in Hampstead on the 10th August 1932.
Still, unexpectedly seeing a famous face from a now no longer on TV spin-off that is Doctor Who's 'Torchwood' certainly has made my day
Christ, I wish I could see more famous faces every time I go out somewhere. Love to meet Katy Manning who played my all time favorite Doctor Who companion Jo Grant, that would be utterly awesome !!

We all knew this day would come, but come it finally has. DeviantArt sure has changed in many ways, and not for the better. So many good friends I've made on this site appear to have just vanished over time, some closing down their accounts, while others just keep their account active but never bother to use it. The site is always being bombarded by filthy uploads [do I really need to give an example displayed on this Journal ? . . no, thought not], and like many of you, I too have never once had an interest in DeviantArt Eclipse, which many of you have said in the past y

Doctor Who - In defence of Rona Munro

It's probably unnessesary, but I feel like defending Rona Munro.
If you have absolutely no idea who Rona is, she is the lady who, sadly, many Doctor Who fan's apparently claimed KILLED Doctor Who in 1989.
Rona wrote 'Survival', the final story of Season 26 and classic Doctor Who as we know it. The name might sound a bit familiar with new series fan's, as she wrote the story 'The Eaters of Light' for Series 10 back in 2017.
As I understand it, and I think I may have read this originally one time in Doctor Who Magazine, Runo is often accused of being the person who killed off Doctor Who in 1989 with the story 'Survival', which yest
