NEW - Doctor Who One I.D. by DoctorWhoOne Hey all.

London MCM Expo gets bigger and bigger every single May and October, and this past weekends October Expo has just got even bigger once more.

The following is from the London MCM Expo's website, and it sure proves that cos more and more people attend Expo each year, it sure is the ULTIMATE and BEST place to go to in the whole of the UK for all things Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Anime, Manga, TV, Movie, Comicbooks, Cosplay etc.

The UK’s biggest comic convention continues to shatter attendance records, as last weekend’s London MCM Expo saw more than 110,000 sci-fi, comic book, videogame and anime fans flocking to the bi-annual London event at the ExCeL.

In total, 110,197 people came through the doors during the 24-26 October weekend, smashing the previous record of 101,600 at the last show in May and 88,000 in October 2013.

“We’re delighted that so many people made the trip down to Expo this weekend,” said MCM co-organiser Bryan Cooney. “The show was 12,000 m2 bigger than in May but we still needed every inch of it, with more movie, television, games, comics, anime and cosplay content on display than ever before — not to mention a great special guest line-up. We’re not going to sit on our laurels, though; the next London MCM Expo will expand to run over three full days, giving Expo fans even more to enjoy.”

Special guests at London MCM Expo included Daniel Radcliffe, Brian Blessed, Shinichiro Watanabe and Peter F. Hamilton, along with cast and crew from Teen Wolf, Salem, Power Rangers, Monsters: Dark Continent, The Strain, Under The Dome, The Hunger Games and Extraterrestrial. Meanwhile, top comic creators at the show included Dan Abnett, Mark Millar, Dave Gibbons, Kieron Gillen, John McCrea and Yishan Li. Plus there was the final of the EuroCosplay championship 2014, which celebrated its fifth year and saw 41 cosplayers from 26 different countries.

“Expo also proved a Mecca for gamers, with Koei Tecmo, Bandai Namco, Warner Bros. Games, Capcom, Rising Star Games, NIS America, Sony, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Konami, 2K Games, Koch Media and Funstock all at the show, plus a special Pokémon stand, exciting indie developers and a roster of eSports tournaments run by our partners at ESL,” added MCM co-organiser Paul Miley. “Our online video content continues to go from strength-to-strength as well, with Rooster Teeth, The Yogscast, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and new series Morganville among those attending London MCM Expo for the first time.”

London MCM Expo will return to ExCeL London from 22-24 May 2015 and will run over three full days.

Congratulations to London MCM Expo's organizers :iconmcmcomiccon: for organizing such a terrific Expo. I have to say that for me, being at Expo on the Sunday like so many of you where, this has been the ultimate Expo I have ever attended since I started going in May 2011 just 3 years back, and it really does get bigger and better each year. The only thing I've not liked about May and Octobers Expo, if I can be utterly, completely honest, is that we couldn't just enter the ExCel in the main doors, we had to go round one side of the building again, but that aside, I've had a marvelous time at Expo both this May and especially this month. Here's my photos taken during the recent Expo on the Sunday, and below, a couple of Deviant Art groups for Expo fan's I'm on too B-)

Congratulations Expo, see you May hopefully, but this Octobers Expo . . . . BEST - ONE - EVER !!! :iconhappyfellaavatar:
